lost 6.5 in a month

Assalamualaikum / Good Day,

Yeah, a really good news from me. I lost 6.5kg in a month, from Jun 12, 2008 to July 11, 2008 my total weight lost was 6.5kg. That was great achievement as I just started to lose weight. Congratulations to me! Hehehe…

:-p

A person should lost 1-2 pound a week (about 1kg a week) but I’ve lost 6.5kg in just 4 weeks. Maybe a bit unhealthier but it may just a bonus for a ‘rookie’ like me in weight losing. Expert said that “Don’t lose more than 4-5kg a week or your body may become flabby”. Yikes!

So, what I’ve done to lose weight?

Herbalife
I consumed Herbalife products which are Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder Drink (F1), Formula 3 Blended Soy and Whey Protein Powder (F3) and Tea Mix Lemon n Hibiscus (Teamix). This three different product have its own benefits in helping me managing my weight. F1 help me lose weight while acts as a meal replacement and provide all the nutrients for my body needs. F2 is to shape me up and help me lose my inches and before I forget to tell you, I have lost in total 15 inches. Awesome! Teamix help me rev up my metabolism and energy, cleanse my body, curb my cravings, flush toxins out and prevent water retention.

TNT Meal Plans
Herbalife products are bit pricey for student like me, found that TNT (Targeted Nutrition Tactics) meal plans can help me replacing Herbalife meal plans. And yeah I managed to lose 1kg last week by using TNT meal plans.

Cardio Exercises
I’m now religiously playing badminton every Tuesday and Thursday. But thats are not enough for me who wanted to lose weight. So I need to add more cardio exercise and start weight-lifting training soon. I may add one more cardio exercise like interval training or jogging. Wish me luck yah!

I think that’s all for little story today and you’re welcome to comment. ;)

TM plans to sell MMU?

Assalamualaikum / Good Day,

This my first blog entry. Here is the news I get from Business Times Online where TM plans to sell our not-really-beloved university, Multimedia University to other party.

What will happens if TM really going to sell MMU? Well, we don’t know yet. But what we can expect is our fees will be increased. Tuition fees, library fees, students’ trust fund, IT services fees?, toilet fees? and many more fees fees fees!

Or MMU will get rebranding and no more will be called as Multimedia University? Who knows? But right know TM is still searching for interested buyer of the MMU. Well, we just hope for better future for MMU and especially for our welfare.

;)

Anyway, please do share your thoughts or opinions regarding this matter by posting a comment to this entry.

Muii

TELEKOM Malaysia Bhd (TM), the country’s dominant phone company, plans to raise as much as RM1.4 billion from the sale of its staff loans and non-core assets, Morgan Stanley said in a report.”The disposal of staff loans from the group’s books could free up RM500 million, and the Multimedia University disposal could unlock another RM800 million to RM900 million,” wrote Navin Killa and Gary Yu in the report after meeting the management last month.Based on TM’s 2007 annual report, its staff loans amounted to RM509 million, with a yearly interest of about four per cent.

“While management remains optimistic on the disposal of staff loans, the group is struggling to find a buyer for the university,” the duo noted.

The non-core asset sale, if it does take place, will be the second time this year the company has sold assets to raise fresh capital. In January, TM raised some RM1 billion by selling Mena-ra TM, Menara Celcom, TM Cyberjaya Complex and Wisma TM (Taman Desa) to Menara ABS Bhd.TM will need between RM1 billion and RM1.5 billion a year to fund its high-speed broadband (HSBB) project. A senior government official who spoke to Business Times on condition of anonymity said that the HSBB project is intact and an agreement is scheduled to be signed this month. The agreement between TM and the government, which was earlier scheduled to be signed this week, was postponed.Energy, Water and Communications Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor was to represent the government at the signing.UBS Investment Research, in a Monday report, said that some of the capital expenditure by TM might be replaced by investments into the project.

“We expect further clarity on HSBB over these two months to alleviate investor concerns,” wrote Shirley Tse in a report.

The HSBB project allows TM to use its fibre optic network to beam broadband connections speedier than what is being offered by wireless network providers, as well as provide cable television connections.

It is understood that TM is looking to provide cable TV facilities similar to that of the US’ second largest internet service provider, Comcast Corp’s G4 station that focuses on games, gears, gadgets and gigabytes.
